Toddler Proof your PC
As computers make their way to many houses they’ve become a new frontier of child hazard. Keeping the toddlers away from the important stuff is quite difficult but still it’s worth an attempt.
The kid gets into playful mood when you’re working on your laptop/desktop? That isn’t a big issue at all, because you can warn them as you’re gonna be around the computer but When you’re attending a phone call or into toilet it’s quite difficult. While you return you find a lot of unwanted text in your document leading to loss of information sometimes. No matter how high you keep your keyboard, toddlers find a way to reach them. And, of course, a keyboard is not just a boring set of keys for a child, it’s a combination of piano and drums which generates mushy sound.
Finding your Pc switched off is something which occurs often as the kid is attracted by the glowing lights on the Power Button or getting the PC reset often or the the Mouse clicking on several links or images on the web pages redirecting you from the site you were in. CD’s lying on the floor with several scratches and also broken at times, getting the Disk Drives broken is quite easy as exerting a little extra pressure is easy for the toddler cause he/she may try making it their chair for some time.
Attending a phone call from your boss and a sudden squeal puts it to an end, forming a bad impression about you to your boss ? That happens often so we have the noise canceling headsets or blue tooth headsets that block ambient noise made by companies like Jaw bone who use special voice-isolating technology that makes sure that your callers hear only your voice. Yup, We’ve solved this problem but stil we have the toddlers messing up with the PC.
We do have a solution to this problem. A software named “Toddler Keys” which locks the drive doors, power button, keyboard and mouse but not the reset button as reset button has nothing to do with OS. Click here to Download Toddler Keys.”It is a useful tool for parents that allows you to lock your computer keyboard, CD drive doors and power-off button. When the keyboard is used it will display images and play sounds every time a key is pressed, thereby preventing access to the desktop and applications, while adding some entertainment value for the kid. You can select the images and sounds to be used by copying them to the Toddler Keys folder. To exit the locked screen, just type the word QUIT.” was the description given by the creator of Toddler Keys. Reset button is not a big issue as you can cover it with cardboard and then tape it and alternatively you can lock your account but that doesn’t lock drive doors, power button, keyboard and the mouse but it does secure your PC from being shut.

thanks Schareen Sison.. Thanks for spending your time to read this blog

Great job Tech, if you’ll excuse me calling you that. This software is certainly useful, though right now, I have no worries from a toddler.;) I spotted some mistakes, I give them here so that you can correct them and give us great posts later down the line.
I see you have used ’cause’ a couple of times in the blog. It should be either because or ’cause. Nothing big, but these refinements help you become a better blogger in the longer run.
Amaze me next time too,
Hyaatus
Yeah, I don’t mind you calling me “tech” .. thanks for the tip

Very well written post. Funny too. Maybe it’s cheaper to buy a cage and lock the toddler in it!
