“Yes It’s True”- Fusion of the Bests
Well, Mac is back to it’s old position now by introducing the all new “all in one desktops” but this time It’s the CPU and Monitor together while the keyboard and mouse are hand as always. This comes along with wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.
Making computing environment much easier this time, So that the user does not get irritated by the wires from Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor to the CPU. Everything inbuilt this time almost it’s clean except for the power cable that goes from the Monitor to Plug-point. And as usual we have competitors when new things launch and one of the earliest competitors with Mac is Dell.
Mac introduced it’s All in one desktop in the year 2002, named iMac G4. The latest iMac till date is iMac 27. It’s powered by Core 2 Duo Processor. With an awesome huge screen and of course its name gives you the size of this monitor. It’s design is quite compact that it gets almost anywhere. The processor are either the 3.06 GHz Core 2 Quad or the 2.66 GHZ powered Intel Core i5. You can also get a 2.8 GHz powered Intel Core i7 as an build order option. The screen comes with an aspect ration of 16:9. Taking a look at 3.06 GHz core 2 Duo iMac model, it really appeals the user. It comes with 3.06 GHz C2D, Resolution of 2560 x 1440, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, ATI Radeon 4670 with 256 dedicated graphics memory and the price is just $1,699!
The Apple Wireless Keyboard is as slim and compact like the Laptop Keyboards. And the Mouse is Magic Mouse Which is quite hard to get used to but once you get used to it, It’s the best mouse you’d be operating. As we did have a competition between Microsoft and Mac about the Mouse, was introduced the Apple’s Magic mouse. It competition was called the Mighty Mouse fight. This mouse is operated with gestures. With just three fingered swipe for navigation while surfing. Two AA sized batteries are installed with power switch on the bottom. It’s recognized as a blue tooth device. It’s all the touch way.
The Magic Mouse interprets the upward and downward movements of the finger as scrolling; it allows the user to configure it to scroll with momentum or without it. With momentum less scrolling, the mouse works just like the normal scroll wheel. If you user momentum, you can easily scroll to the bottom of the huge window, with fast flick of a finger and the mouse is rechargeable.
The iMac’s OS is Snow Leopard as the OS is designed to take the maximum advantage of the Intel processor, so that every core reaches its full potential on iMac. It’s the Fusion of the bests, while Mac the best in OS and Intel the best in processors.
